• Woman killed when semi-truck tips over near Auburn

    AUBURN, Wash. - A woman was killed in a crash Sunday night when a semi-truck tipped over and collided with car on Auburn-Black Diamond Road.

    The King County Sheriff’s Office said the truck was heading northbound east of Auburn when its trailer tipped over into oncoming traffic near North Holm Road.

    A man and a child from the car, which was southbound, were transported to the hospital with critical injuries. The truck driver was also sent to the hospital, according to Mountain View Fire & Rescue.

    A woman in the car died at the scene.

    Part of the Auburn-Black Diamond Road was closed for hours while police investigated.
