SEATTLE — A Seattle woman was charged with second-degree assault in King County Superior Court following a stabbing at the Union Gospel Mission.

In charging documents, police said Shavena Bolds, 49, stabbed a man just before 9 p.m. on April 8.

When police arrived at the scene, they said Bolds immediately became agitated said she wished an officer would kill himself and that the Woo-Tang Clan would kill the officer.

Police later located the victim and said he had about a 10-inch cut to his face.

The victim told officers that he was inside the Union Gospel Mission when he heard Bolds screaming and throwing items at staff members.

The staff members were trying to get Bolds to leave the facility, but she refused, police said.

Police said Bolds then picked up a chair and began to swing it at the victim, but the victim was able to deflect it.

The victim told police he feared for his safety and began to escort Bolds out of the facility.

Police said they later determined that Bolds used a razor blade to stab the victim.

Bolds was booked into the King County Jail for investigation of assault where she remains in lieu of a $100,000 bail based on her prior history of bail jumping, prosecutors said.

Her arraignment, where she will enter a plea, is expected in May.

Bolds’ also has convictions for theft, domestic violence property destruction, harassment and attempted bail jumping, among a series others.
