Washington Rep. Dan Newhouse tests positive for coronavirus

Washington Rep. Dan Newhouse announced Wednesday that he tested positive for the coronavirus.

“I began to feel a little run down yesterday, so I took a COVID-19 test. Last night, the results came back positive for the virus,” Newhouse tweeted.

“I am quarantining and will continue to serve the people of Central Washington from home,” he continued.

Newhouse represents Washington’s 4th District, which encompasses much of central Washington, covering the counties of Douglas, Okanogan, Grant, Yakima, Franklin, Benton, and Adams.
