Vigil held for 18-year-old killed over the weekend as police search for killer

TUKWILA, Wash. — Family and friends gathered to mourn Bryan Dominguez at Foster High School in Tukwila Monday night.

The 18-year-old was gunned down a few blocks from Foster while sitting in a car with a 24-year-old man.

That man sustained serious injuries, but lived.  The gunman is still at large, and Dominguez’s family is still searching for answers about what led up to the shooting.

“It is hard for the family, especially for his mom and his dad who lost a child,” Dominguez's cousin said at the vigil.  “It is really sad.”

But tough there were tearful at times during the evening, room was also left for laughter.

“They’re just joking around, kind of talking about how Bryan was and what he would do here with the group,” said Ramiro Betancourt, who knew Dominguez since he was a little boy.

People at the vigil described him as quiet, but smart and funny.
