SEATTLE — A video captured a rare deer sighting early Monday in the Belltown neighborhood.
Seattle resident Sam Lillemoen posted the video on Facebook, which shows the deer first being spotted at 2nd Avenue and Bell Street and then again between 1st and 2nd Avenues on Battery Street.
"It was obviously strange because I usually don't see anything bigger than a rat in Belltown," Lillemoen said.
The Department of Fish and Wildlife says every once in a while they get reports of urban deer or coyotes, but instructed people to not approach the animals.
