Vehicle crashes through apartment in Kenmore

KENMORE, Wash. — A driver who mistook the gas pedal for the brake put a big hole in a Kenmore apartment.

Deputies said they got a 911 call Wednesday afternoon and responded to the 6700 block of Northeast 182nd Street.

When deputies arrived, they found a car crashed through an apartment, officials said.

Deputies said no one was home at the time except a dog who managed to get out of the way.

The driver was taken to the hospital to be checked out as a precaution but is expected to be OK.
