Unbeaten Gonzaga staying loose as tourney winds down

INDIANAPOLIS — Coach Mark Few and top-seeded Gonzaga are chasing history in Indianapolis.

The Zags need three more wins to win their first national championship and become the first undefeated men’s champion in 45 years.

Conventional wisdom might suggest the pressure should be heating up as the finish line draws nearer.

Not a chance with this team. Few says his team has loose personalities, among them Drew Timme and Joel Ayayi.

Also, the Zags are rallying behind Timme’s distinctive handlebar mustache.

Gonzaga faces Southern California in the Elite Eight on Tuesday night.
