Tickets for some MLB All-Star Week events go on sale Monday

SEATTLE — We’re just 33 days away from MLB All-Star Week in Seattle.

At 10 a.m. on Monday, tickets to the HBCU Swingman Classic on Jul. 7 and All-Star Saturday on Jul. 8 go on sale at allstargame.com.

We also got word from the Mariners there may be a limited number of All-Star Game and Home Run Derby tickets available Monday morning as well.

The HBCU Swingman Classic is a first-of-its-kind event for All-Star Week.

It recognizes Mariners icon Ken Griffey Jr.

Student athletes from historically black colleges and universities were selected with the help of the Hall of Famer.

Then Saturday’s doubleheader includes the MLB All-Star Celebrity Softball Game followed by SiriusXM All-Star Futures Games.

Looking at ticket prices, in the low range, we found tickets for the Home Run Derby and the actual All-Star Game on Jul. 11, for $305 to $471 each. Good seats are going for about $725 to $2,000.

If you’re looking for something cheaper, for All-Star Saturday, tickets in the low range are $13 to $25 each. That includes the MLB Futures Game and Celebrity Softball.

You could also do a family four-pack for the fan experience event Capital One PLAY BALL PARK! for $110.

Again, tickets can be bought on allstargame.com or through secondary ticket sellers such as SeatGeek, StubHub, and Vivid.
