Temperatures could hit 70 degrees this week in a spring warm up

WESTERN WASHINGTON — The Puget Sound is getting its first real taste of spring this week as the snow and rain go away and temperatures rise.

Monday is off to a chilly start, but will turn to sunny skies and temps in the upper-50s and low-60s by the afternoon. Tuesday will also be sunny and in the low- to mid-60s.

Temperatures will continue to warm up the rest of the week, and the area will likely hit 70 degrees by Thursday.

Friday through Sunday will be in the low- to mid-70s, with highs of 75 degrees for the weekend.
