SPANAWAY, Wash. — Two teenagers were arrested Friday after smashing items with golf clubs at Classic County Club in Spanaway, police said.
Police responded around 3:23 a.m. to a reported burglary at the country club located on 208th Street East. Three teenagers were seen on surveillance cameras smashing items inside the clubhouse with golf clubs.
When police arrived, they chased two of the teenagers onto the fairway and took them into custody. A third suspect fled into the woods and disappeared.
The two 15-year-old boys were arrested on suspicion of burglary in the second degree and malicious mischief in the second degree.
Around an hour later, police found the third suspect who had escaped in the woods with 65 prescription pills and stolen chips and candy in his possession, a blotter post read. The 18-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of burglary in the second degree, unlawful possession of a controlled substance and resisting arrest.
