KITSAP COUNTY, Wash. — A suspected DUI driver involved in a crash Saturday was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle for treatment, troopers said.
The crash happened after 12:45 p.m. on Highway 3 near the Rodeo Drive-In.
Troopers said the driver suspected of causing the crash was headed northbound and crossed into the center turn lane and then sideswiped another vehicle in the southbound lane. The driver continued into the southbound lane and then struck a power pole and a tree.
The driver who was sideswiped suffered minor injuries and was treated and released at the scene, troopers said.
The crash is under investigation.
