Suspect in fatal Sammamish hit and run held on $1 million bail

The woman accused of hitting and killing a man in Sammamish last week was arrested Saturday and ordered held on $1 million bail Monday afternoon.

Kadeidre Alana Rials, 23, was arrested for investigation of vehicular homicide for killing Mo Radcliffe, the son of a Seattle police officer.

Rials was arrested around noon on Saturday at a Skyway apartment complex.

Investigators staked out the complex and arrested her for vehicular homicide and identity theft.

In court Monday, Rials waived her right to appear at her bail hearing.

Radcliffe and his girlfriend were walking his dog in the park last Wednesday afternoon. When the couple returned to the parking lot, Radcliffe saw car prowlers near his car.

According to detectives, Radcliffe confronted them, and the suspects ran and got into a gold Infiniti SUV.

Investigators said the driver of the SUV was headed right toward Radcliffe.

Police said Radcliffe was armed and shot at the SUV in self-defense. The SUV ran over him and killed him.

Detectives are still looking for the gold Infiniti SUV, a 2000s model with 5-point chrome wheels.

There is video of the SUV captured on another driver's dashboard camera.

KIRO 7 late Monday afternoon obtained the police report that reveals how police caught Rials. According to investigators, a credit card stolen from a car at the park was used at the Fred Meyer in Renton.

Investigators say they were investigating the Beaver Lake Homicide.

They were trying to find who used the stolen credit card from a car prowl at the same time at Beaver Lake Park, according to detectives.

They went to Des Moines to try to talk to a 16-year-old boy. Investigators say a 17-year-old boy and the 16-year-old boy pulled out guns. They say the 17-year-old boy fired at police. Officers fired back, and the 17-year-old boy died later at Harborview Medical Center.

After further investigation, police don't think the 16-year-old boy used the card, or was involved in the Beaver Lake incident. They don't think the 17 year-old boy was either.

Rials was picked up at a Skyway apartment complex on Saturday. Police also arrested a 17-year-old girl they say was with her at Beaver Lake Park. They are still looking for another teen girl.

The medical examiner has not released the identity of the 17-year-old shot and killed in Des Moines.
