Stolen flatbed trailer leads deputies to heroin, meth and more in Snohomish County

Authorities seized 11 ounces of heroin, more than 1 ounce of methamphetamine and 100 suspected fentanyl pills in Snohomish County.

Deputies with the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office said they found the drugs after they stopped a vehicle carrying a stolen flatbed trailer Sunday.

When they went up to the vehicle, deputies said they could see drug paraphernalia inside.

The two men inside the vehicle were arrested and the vehicle was impounded. One of the men had $7,000 cash on him when he was arrested, deputies said.

After a warrant was granted to search the vehicle, deputies said they found the drugs along with scales and baggies.

“Our deputies continue to be proactive and are working hard to safeguard our communities,” a spokesperson for the sheriff’s office said in a news release.
