The Sounder north line trains to the Seahawks game were canceled Sunday due to landslide risk, Sound Transit officials said. The trains run from Everett to Seattle.
This comes after heavy rainfall saturated the region and caused flooding, mudslides and damage in the area.
On Friday, there was a total of 3.25 inches of rain, making it the wettest day around Puget Sound since 2007.
However, the south line trains (Lakewood to Seattle) will operate for the game and operate on a normal schedule for Monday.
Officials with Sound Transit said they will reassess the situation for the north line to determine if there will be an impact on Monday’s commute.
For those looking to take transit from Everett to Seattle, Sound Transit officials said use their trip planning feature at SoundTransit.org.
