Smoke was seen near the Duwamish River Waterway earlier Wednesday afternoon after a fire burned in an auto yard.
Firefighters later put out the flames but prior a large smoke plume could be seen over South Seattle. See photos here.
On Labor Day, shipping containers on fire near the waterway sent thick smoke over West and South Seattle. Firefighters determined a spontaneous combustion of garbage caused the fire. Read about the investigation here.
