Lakoduk's vehicle was found at the trailhead, according to the Sheriff's Office. Search crews went out over the weekend, but were forced to turn back due to weather conditions and avalanche danger.

The cabin Lakoduk may be in is at an elevation of 6,800 feet, complicating search and rescue efforts. Search and rescue teams have only been able to reach 6,000 feet so far.

Search teams are scheduled to resume the search Tuesday.
