Shoreline man pleas not guilty in shooting of King County deputy

Ezequiel Medina Parra, a 34-year-old West Seattle man accused of shooting a King County deputy in Shoreline, pled not guilty to all charges filed against him on Monday.

Parra was arrested on March 5 after he allegedly opened fire on a King County Sheriff’s deputy.

He was booked into the King County Jail on $3 million bail.

On Monday, Parra was charged with first-degree assault, reckless endangerment, obstructing a law enforcement officer, and unlawful discharge of a dangerous weapon.

His trial is set to begin on May 11, 2023.
