A second TSA officer at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport has tested positive for COVID-19, causing two checkpoints to close for cleaning Saturday morning.
The TSA said the officer was a screener who worked at checkpoints 3 and 4, which were cleaned and reopened.
The officer was last at work on Tuesday, March 24, officials said.
The first officer who tested positive worked the morning shift March 21 at checkpoint 5.
Officials said, “If someone believes they may have come in contact with this officer at some point during their travels and they are concerned about their health, they are asked to reach out to their medical provider or their local public health department.”
To see a list of airports, locations and shifts where screening officers have tested positive for the virus, the TSA has created a webpage: www.tsa.gov/coronavirus, for confirmed cases in the past 14 days.
