Seattle Public Schools will stay remote through January

Seattle Public Schools will stick with remote learning through Jan. 28, the district announced Friday.

That means the entire first semester will be conducted online.

In-person instruction will be prioritized for those who receive special education services.

The district says this decision is in response to an increase in COVID-19 cases in King County.

It also said there is no guarantee that in-person instruction will return next semester, but the district will continue to monitor the situation.
