Seattle police officer struck by hit-and-run driver

SEATTLE — Seattle police are investigating a hit-and-run crash in South Seattle in which an officer was struck by a car.

It happened around 9:30 a.m. Thursday in the 4800 block of S Myrtle St.

Police said an officer was struck by the driver as they fled after hitting a car. The officer is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
