Seattle police: Can you ID this armed robbery suspect?

SEATTLE — Detectives with the Seattle Police Department are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who they say robbed someone at gunpoint at a Northgate bus stop earlier this month.

Police said the armed robbery happened around 4:40 p.m. May 1 at a bus stop in the 500 block of Northeast Northgate Way.

According to police, the suspect was wearing a mask when he approached a man and demanded his phone, headphones and cash.

Police said the suspect then asked the victim “Do you want to die?” According to police, the suspect was handling “what appeared to be a firearm” tucked into his pants during the robbery.

Police said the victim handed over the items and the suspect ran away.

However, police said surveillance cameras in the area captured the suspect.

Police described the suspect as 5 feet 9 inches or 5 feet 10 inches and was wearing black and gray camouflage pants, a black jacket and white shoes during the incident.
