Seattle police arrest man on robbery warrant, find stolen credit cards

SEATTLE — Officers with the Seattle Police Department arrested a 50-year-old man Wednesday who had a robbery warrant out for his arrest.

Police said the manager of a business in the 9100 block of Aurora Avenue called to report a disturbance after the man threw items that narrowly missed employees.

"Officers arrived and spoke with a person identified as a possible suspect who was staying in a tent in the area and discovered he had a warrant for robbery," police wrote in a blotter post.

Police said they arrested the man and while searching him discovered multiple stolen credit cards in his wallet.

The suspect was booked into the King County Jail.
