Seattle man shot through ceiling of apartment

SEATTLE — On April 6, a sleeping Seattle man woke up to a gunshot wound to his leg after a bullet came through his second floor apartment ceiling.

The man was treated by Seattle Fire medics for a non-life-threatening injury and transported to Harborview.

Officers checked on the first-floor resident and determined that she had not been injured.

The officers then checked on the third-floor residents and after recovering a firearm, placed the two residents into custody.

After requesting a search warrant, a search of their apartment found additional evidence.
