Seattle Center Monorail resumes service

SEATTLE — The Seattle Center Monorail resumed service Thursday.

Due to the pandemic, it will operate with limited hours for at least the first week as safety measures are implemented:

• Monday through Friday: 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.

• Saturday and Sunday: 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.

Monorail officials said it is only accepting ORCA cards, credit/debit cards and mobile tickets through the Transit GO Ticket app as to reduce the potential risk of spreading the virus to workers.
