A Seattle-bound Delta flight from Atlanta was diverted Monday afternoon to Salt Lake City after the plane showed an indicator warning of a possible problem with one of its engines.
Officials said Flight DL2123 had to be diverted out of an abundance of caution.
CBS-affiliate KUTV reported the plane is a Boeing 757-200.
The flight landed safely and taxied to the gate without assistance.
“We are working to re-accommodate customers on a later flight. We apologize for the delay and any inconvenience,” officials said.
Officials said there were 122 passengers, two pilots and four flight attendants.
