PORTLAND, Ore. — NFL camps begin at the end of the month, yet a few members of the Seattle Seahawks were able to deliver a Super Bowl of smiles at Doernbecher Children's Hospital in Portland, Ore. Saturday, KPTV reports.
The Seahawks’ 12 Tour roamed the hospital's halls.
Alongside the SeaGals & Blitz the Seahawk were rookies Joey Hunt and George Fant. Plus, the positive power of newly retired Ricardo Lockette, who can easily relate.
"Adversity is something that we all have to overcome. It's not as bad as it seems but there is always a brighter day and we're here to brighten their day and let them know that there is joy on the other side," said Lockette in an interview with KPTV.
