Renton police have shut down roads around the Renton Boeing plant after a suspicious package was found there.
One building at the plant has been evacuated as a precaution.
The Department of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the Port of Seattle are assisting.
The following streets have been closed while authorities investigate: 8th and Garden, 5th and Park and 5th and Garden.
Drivers should avoid the area or expect delays.
