Football and wings aren’t just for game day: Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman has opened the first Wing Stop restaurant in Seattle proper.
The Westwood Village location is under partial ownership of Sherman, who says he is excited to bring a brand he loves to Seattle.
Wing Stop operates more than 900 locations with a large range of flavors. Some fan favorites include mango habanero, lemon pepper, garlic parmesan and original hot.
The Seattle Times reports Sherman's partner is Greg Southern. He owns other branches of Wingstop, some with former Seahawk Sidney Rice.
Rice’s first two Wingstops opened in Kent and Tacoma.
