SEATTLE — Seattle fire rescue crews rescued a missing kayaker just offshore of Alki Beach Sunday evening.
Crews were called near Alki Avenue Southwest and 62nd Avenue Southwest about 9:30 p.m.
When crews arrived, they were able to see the kayaker in Elliot Bay and safely brought the kayaker back to shore.
Rescue crews also found an overturned kayak 150 feet offshore.
The kayaker was treated by medics.
Officials did not say how the kayaker fell out of the kayak.
The incident is under investigation.
