Roads in Olympia were closed Monday morning after police discovered suspected pipe bombs.
Boulevard Road Southeast, near 15th Avenue Southeast, was closed in both directions after the two suspicious pipes were found about 10:30 a.m. Monday.
The pipes were found near the Olympia Regional Learning Academy on 15th Avenue.
The reporting party saw two suspicious pipes laying across the street from the school along the roadway, police said. They had endcaps, but nothing sticking out. Traffic was rerouted.
