EDMONDS, Wash. — Police say a missing 4-year-old Edmonds girl has been found with her mother in Lynnwood.
Police were searching for the girl and her mother after the child's father called police, concerned about his daughter's safety.
Bryn McEwan was found with her mother, Ramona, at about 10:40 a.m. Wednesday.
Police believe Ramona McEwan has been having paranoid delusions that have gotten worse over the past few days.
Edmonds police were concerned about Ramona McEwan's mental health enough to get in touch with state officials, but didn't believe the child was in danger.
Edmonds police say no charges are expected to be filed against the girl's mother, who has full custodial access to the child and no apparent crime was committed.
Police are still discussing the custody question of having the girl return with her mother.
Edmonds police say they're now working on reuniting Bryn with her father.
