Police: Man arrested in park after exposing himself to two women, attacking officer while naked

SEATTLE — A man was arrested Tuesday in a park in North Seattle after exposing himself to two women in a bathroom and later attacking an officer while naked, police said.

The incident began around 12:30 p.m. in the bathroom at Northacres Park near 1st Avenue Northeast and Northeast 130th Street. Police said that the man exited a stall with his pants around his ankles, and stared and giggled at two women with his pants down.

He then approached one of the women, who began shouting and called 911.

While one of the women were on the phone, the man then removed his shirt and closed the bathroom's door, police said.

When officers arrived, they went into the bathroom and found that the man was completely naked. the blotter post read. Police attempted to take the man into custody, but the man reportedly lunged at the officer and hit him in the face.

Police were eventually able to place him under arrest. The 25-year-old was booked into King County Jail for assault and indecent exposure.
