Police looking for man convicted of violent assaults on women

SEATTLE — A Seattle man who is believed to be a danger to the community after a pattern of past violent assaults is on the run.

Isaiah Clay Lewis, 21, committed several brutal, unprovoked and random attacks in January 2021.

In surveillance video from two attacks, Lewis is seen kicking a woman in the head as she rode a King County Metro bus home.

That attack left the woman with a serious concussion.

A day later, Lewis was seen attacking a woman who was planting flower bulbs in the Belltown neighborhood. She was kicked in the head and suffered 10 fractures to her face.

Lewis was convicted for those crimes last year but was recently released from prison.

The Washington State Department of Corrections confirms that Lewis has since violated his parole, resulting in a warrant for his arrest.

Prosecutors said he has a “pattern of deliberate cruelty,” so if you see Lewis, call the police.
