Police investigating after man found dead in RV

SEATTLE — Police are investigating after a 51-year-old man was found dead Wednesday morning in an RV in SoDo.

At 5:45 a.m., someone called 911 and reported that they found their friend dead in a parked RV near South Forest Street and Occidental Avenue South.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found a man dead with a gunshot wound, authorities said.

A crime scene investigation unit and homicide detectives were called to the scene to further investigate.

Law enforcement is asking anyone with information about the shooting to call the Violent Crime Tip Line at 206-233-5000.
