MOUNTLAKE TERRACE, Wash. — Police in Mountlake Terrace have identified a person of interest in a shooting from last week.
On Dec. 6 a man was shot in the lower back and was on his way to the hospital when the car he was in was pulled over by Edmonds police.
The injured man was later taken to Harborview Medical Center and later discharged.
Investigators said the incident appeared to have been a “drug transaction gone bad” and not a random act of violence.
According to police, the victims involved in the incident have been uncooperative.
Police said the person of interest is a known individual.
The investigation remains ongoing.
