TACOMA, Wash. — Update: A missing 84-year-old man with dementia was found safe, Tacoma police said Sunday.
An officer spotted him and he was reunited with his family.
Original: Tacoma police are asking for the public’s help in finding a missing 84-year-old man with dementia.
William Palmer was last seen at 1 p.m. in the 7800 block of South Sheridan Avenue.
Police said he is new to the area and is on foot.
Palmer is described as white, 5 feet, 10 inches tall, 210 lbs and has brown eyes, black hair and a black and white beard.
He was wearing a T-shirt and sweats.
Anyone who sees Palmer is asked to call 911.
