Pierce County deputies need help identifying man who burglarized pub near Gig Harbor

WAUNA, Wash. — Deputies in Pierce County need your help identifying a man who they say burglarized a local pub.

According to deputies, the man smashed a window around 4:45 a.m. Monday at Jimmy’s 94th Avenue Pub along State Route 302 in Wauna and stole several bottles of alcohol.

Deputies described the man as being white, in his 20s or 30s and at an average height and weight and said he was wearing a red hooded-sweatshirt, baseball hat, blue jacket, rubber garden gloves and blue jeans during the burglary.

Wauna bar burglary 9-21-2020

It is no secret that 2020 has been very hard on bars and restaurants - especially the locally owned small businesses! Early Monday morning a pub in the Gig Harbor area was burglarized, and we are hoping you can help our deputies identify the suspect responsible. At 4:37 a.m. on September 21, 2020, the pictured suspect smashed in a window at Jimmy's 94th Avenue Pub along State Route 302 in Wauna. The suspect climbed through the window and stole several of bottles of alcohol from behind the bar before fleeing the business. The suspect appears to be a white male in his 20's or 30's, average height/weight, and was wearing a red plaid hoodie, a baseball hat, a blue jacket, rubber garden gloves, and blue jeans.
