STANWOOD, Wash. — One person was killed in a collision with a train Tuesday night in Stanwood, Wash., Snohomish County Sheriff officials said.
Officials say the collision occurred between a train and a potato truck.
A second person was injured and taken to Harborview.
Snohomish County Sheriff officials said both the injured and deceased were male. The truck was attempting to cross over the tracks when it was struck by the train.
Representatives from Burlington Northern are at the scene. An investigation will last for several hours, officials said Tuesday night.
