SEATTLE — Two people died in a single-vehicle crash Saturday night in Seattle’s SoDo neighborhood, police said.
First responders were called before 8:30 p.m. to the 3400 block of Airport Way South and found a car on its top.
Police said a Ford Mustang going northbound left the road and struck a light pole.
The driver, a man, and the passenger, a woman, were both declared dead at the scene, authorities said.
Police closed Airport Way South and South Hinds West to investigate.
Investigators believe alcohol and speed were factors in the crash, officials said.
The crash remains under investigation.
