FEDERAL WAY, Wash. — One person was killed in a crash on northbound I-5 early Sunday in Federal Way, Washington State Patrol said.
Officials said a 29-year-old driver in a Chevrolet Cruze struck a guardrail on the right shoulder and the car rolled and ended on its top in lane three.
A 25-year-old driver in a Honda Fit was driving in lane three and struck the Cruze, landing on top of it, officials said.
The 29-year-old driver died at the scene, troopers said.
The crash caused part of the highway to be blocked for four hours.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
