BELLEVUE, Wash. — The suspect in a December bank robbery in Bellevue is now in custody.

The robbery happened on Dec. 21, around 3:20 p.m., at Columbia Bank near Bellevue Way and North East 10th Street in the Kelsey Creek neighborhood.
Officials say the suspect handed the bank teller a note and that is when police were called.

Police said the suspect fled in a black car and was described as a mixed race male, around 25 years old and 6 feet 2 inches tall. He had a black face covering, white gloves and a yellow construction vest, according to a tweet from the department.
Officials believe this suspect may be responsible for other robberies in the area.
