North line Sounder service canceled next 2 days due to landslide

North line Sounder service has been canceled for Tuesday and Wednesday due to a landslide between the Edmonds and Mukilteo stations.

Sound Transit said, “Special bus services have been arranged for passengers at the Mukilteo, Edmonds and Everett stations, at the normal morning departure times or passengers may consider taking regularly scheduled bus service.”

Regular bus service alternatives are as follows. All times are estimates.

Everett-Seattle:

Take ST Express Route 510 @ Bay C1 departing every 10-15 minutes

Mukilteo - Seattle:

Take Community Transit Route 417 from Hwy 525 & Front St departing at 5:49 am, 6:21 am, 6:51 am, 7:21 am and 7:53 am

Edmonds-Seattle:

Take Community Transit Route 416 at Edmonds Station Bay 2, departing at 5:45 am, 6:15 am, 6:34 am, 6:55 am and 7:42 am

Everett-Mukilteo:

Take Everett Transit 18 at Bay D2

Everett-Edmonds:

Take ST Express Route 532 at Bay C3 to Ash Way P&R

Transfer to Community Transit Route 116 at Bay 2

Mukilteo - Edmonds:

Take Community Transit Route 113 at Hwy 525 & Front St to Lynnwood TC

Transfer to Community Transit Route 130 at Bay C4 or Route 116 at Bay C2

The landslide situation is being monitored. Sevice is expected to resume Thursday morning if there are no more events, Sounder officials said.
