New lawsuits in King County accuse local Boy Scouts councils of failing to stop abuse

PORT ORCHARD, Wash. — Four new lawsuits filed Tuesday morning in King County accuse the Boy Scouts of America, local councils and Bethel Grange #404 of failing to stop sexual abuse by Scoutmaster James Sauget.

Four former Scouts say Sauget abused them while they were a part of a Boy Scout troop in Port Orchard. Former Boy Scout Daniel Armstrong told KIRO 7’s Dave Wagner, “I would say just about everybody in that picture” was abused by Sauget.
