New crop of Cosmic Crisp apples arriving in stores soon

You’ll soon be able to get your hands on the latest batch of Cosmic Crisp apples.

The apple, which is a cross between Enterprise and Honeycrisp varieties, was developed at WSU and first went on sale last year.

Farmers are getting ready to ship this year’s harvest on Monday and this year, the apples are going out nationwide.

You’ll be able to find them at QFC, Safeway, Costco and Whole Foods, just to name a few locations.
