• Mudslide closes road in Federal Way

    FEDERAL WAY, Wash. - Crews are working to clean up a mudslide that is blocking a road in Federal Way Thursday.

    The slide happened about 3 a.m. and caused the closure Southwest Dash Point Road at 28th Avenue Southwest.

    The mudslide took down power lines, but no power was out in the area.

    The cleanup will take at least one day. Here is a map of detours.
