BENTON CITY, Wash. — Men out geocaching in Benton City ended up saving a woman’s life.

KXLY News reports Tim Turner and Derek Fisher were out geocaching on Horse Heaven Hills in Benton City.

Turner explained to KXLY that geocaching is “just finding treasures and finding stuff to sign. It’s our hobby, our game.”

The news organization says when the two walked toward the bottom of the hill, they saw a truck that looked abandoned and then noticed a leg and a hand.

A woman in the truck had spent 14 hours trapped in the back seat after her vehicle rolled down a 150-foot embankment. The woman, 52-year-old Cindy Hendrickson, was treated for her injuries and then discharged from the hospital where she received care.
