TACOMA, Wash. — A man is recovering after being stabbed Saturday night in Tacoma, police say.
Officers responded to a stabbing in the 6700 block of South Tyler Street in Tacoma around 7:30 p.m.
When they arrived, officers found a man with a stab wound to his arm. He was transported to Tacoma General Hospital.

Officers arrested a 47-year-old man for assault. Police said there is no threat to the public.
The man was taken into custody for first-degree assault and violating a domestic violence no contact order. Police said the no contact order was not with the man who was stabbed, but with someone else at the scene.
