Man stabbed multiple times in Capitol Hill

SEATTLE — A man was stabbed multiple times early Saturday in Capitol Hill, Seattle police said.

Officers responded around 1 a.m. to a hospital in the 1500 block of East Thomas Street. Security guards reported hearing a man yelling for help nearby.

Staff members found the man who had multiple stab wounds. He was taken to Harborview Medical Center in stable condition.

The man told police that someone came up from behind at a bus stop in the area, hit him in the head and stabbed him repeatedly, according to a blotter post.

The victim described the suspect as a white man in his 30s, 5 feet 7 inches tall with blonde hair and blue eyes. He was wearing a bright blue jacket and hat.
