SEATTLE — A man was injured in a shooting Wednesday morning in Pioneer Square, SPD said.
A 911 caller reported around 8 a.m. that a man had been shot at 1st Avenue and Yesler Way.
When officers responded, they found a 26-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the hip.
The man told police that the shooting happened about 15 minutes before the call in a tent a few blocks away, but didn’t give any additional information.
He initially denied medical care but was later taken to Harborview Medical Center in stable condition.
No one was able to provide a suspect description to police. Anyone with information is asked to contact SPD.
