Man shot, injured in Marysville robbery

MARYSVILLE, Wash. — A 30-year-old man was shot and injured during a robbery at his home Wednesday night in Marysville, police said.

When officers arrived at the victim’s apartment near the 5300 block of 97th Street Northeast, they found him with a gunshot wound to his left hand.

He was taken to Providence Medical Center in Everett. The injury was non-life-threatening.

Police said the victim was a drug dealer, and the suspects had stolen drugs from him.

Investigators believe at least two suspects fled in a small dark passenger vehicle onto 51st Avenue.

Both were reportedly armed.

Authorities are asking anyone who has video of the area between 8:45 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. to come forward, in hopes of identifying the suspects and the vehicle they fled in. Tipsters can call the Marysville Police Department at 360-363-8350.
